IDT works close with several Universities to find qualified and motivated students for its Internship and Co-operative education (Co-op) programs. IDT Interns and Co-ops have the opportunity to work along side professionals in the Software Engineering and System Engineering fields. IDT believes the Internship and Co-op programs are Win-Win-Win efforts.

• The University - establishes relationship with industry for future student placement, etc.
Candidates for INTERN positions should be enrolled in a B.S. or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and hold a GPA of 3.2 or above. Intern positions are generally, but not exclusively, provided during the summer months.
Candidates for Co-Op positions should be enrolled in a B.S. or Postgraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Electrical Engineering and hold a GPA of 3.2 or above. Co-op positions are generally, semester-on/semester-off type positions and coordinated through the University Co-operative Education office.
Candidates for the Software Engineer Intern/Co-op positions will participate in the design and development of an innovative system that enable automated testing of highly complex systems. This position requires knowledge of and some experience in developing applications in C++ and Java in Linux environment; Experience in Perl, Python, XML, and Eclipse development environment a plus.
Candidates for the System Engineer Intern/Co-op positions will to participate in the design and development of an innovative system that enable automated testing of highly complex systems. This position requires knowledge of and some experience in developing applications in C++ and Java in Windows and Linux environments; Experience in Matlab, UML design, Virtualization technologies a plus.
